![]() Galleons are terrible unless u have unlimited wood and dont mind losing a lot of pirates. So speed, losing crew, and the setting the ship is set on for cruising is what i found to be the problem. 4.41 / 5 - 22 votes Buy Game GOG Download extras files Manual available Description of Tropico Read Full Review Famed for its railway management simulation Railroad Tycoon 2, Poptop Software has turned its attention to a rather different style of game. The ship can realise when it has lost too much crew and will return home but I believe when it is set on "board them" the ship will lose crew and then due to lack of speed, get in a bad situation where it cant escape. In my experiments when i set it to harras them, the ship would leave my island, go into one battle, lose about a 1/4 of the crew, then return home with minimal rewards. The MAIN reason galleons sink so easily is because the crew couldnt support the ship in combat any longer. Changing it to "harass them" (which is the safest option) did reduce the sink chance.
